Updates have not really come in quite a long time from me. They are on the way though. I promised Melissa months ago that I would blog just for her and I fell short on that promise. I will catch up with blogging eventually.
And to those who care, I will be in the city October 11-14 and November 24-30.
And to everyone planning on seeing Billy Elliot when it opens, buy merch from my BFF Penski because she'll be working there!!!!
I love it. I love them. Every time I think it is impossible for me to love them more than I already do, they prove to me that the amount of love I have for them can never stop growing.
With the coming of summer, a new world is opening up in front of me and I am realizing many things. I am changing. I am constantly changing and growing and learning. New things and people come in and out of my life. Everything is exciting and full of possibilities. It is also full of laughs, sadness, moments of being free, moments of just being, creation of memories, loss of the past.... I am not who I was a few months ago, but who is really? If we all continue to live and grow, we will change. I am seeing things about my past self that I dislike and I am learning what I love. The same goes for those around me. I am taking time to really clear my head and let everything go and focus on what is real and what is now and just live.breathe.be.

Words cannot explain how much I love this show and how happy it makes me. It's such a brilliant show with such a traditional feel to it. Everything about it just moves me so much. Both nights I saw it, I was so excited and happy and moved that I punched Penski numerous times throughout the show. The finale... I can't even listen without being so unbelievably moved that I cry. Lin-Manuel Miranda is truly a genius and I think he is amazing for creating this show and giving one of the most touching performances I've ever seen. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
I haven't seen it since the last two days of previews and I wish I could just go right now because I miss it. :(
Dear people who read this, Let me tell you about my friend Rachel. The whole 2 people that read this already know her, but I am going to tell you about her anyway. I miss Rachel a lot. (I miss everyone else a lot too so don't feel left out because I am singling out Rachel!) I feel so unbelievably blessed that she is my friend because she lets me whine and complain and cry and she doesn't care. I can say things to her that I am afraid to say to others because I know that Rachel understands and accepts it and most of the time agrees with me on my views on the world. She is kind and caring and has every quality that a good friend needs to have. She even accepts me when I take a picture like the one featured in this post. I have been feeling down lately, and I just picked up my phone sometime after 1 a.m. and called and Rachel not only answered, but she put off studying a little longer and spoke to me and was so understanding and I am so grateful to have her as my friend.
Thank you for always being there and always understanding. I miss you Rachel!!!!!!!
Sometimes I think I have so much love for these three people that it can't be contained inside of me and I am going to burst. I don't think I have ever been so appreciative and so grateful to anyone for making music before, except maybe the Beatles. I think OSP will understand that The Beatles come first. Especially George. "SING LITTLE BUG WITH FOR YOU BLUE!" Proof right there.
They don't even know what it is to be a fan. Y'know? To truly love some silly little piece of music, or some band, so much that it hurts. ~Sapphire, Almost Famous
You're nothing more than a pedestrian at a crosswalk...
For the Record, my blog title may make some think I am conceited, but I am not. If you are an Avett Brothers' fan, you get the reference. :)
